Havdalah Club

This special evening program for 3rd-5ths graders focuses on the inherited Jewish tradition of dialogue and debate. Over the course of a pizza dinner participants study a Jewish value - considering their personal stance and opinion. Through the dissection of Jewish text and commentary, kids become more informed, and are able to re-evaluate their opinion and relationship to that Jewish value. Considered one of our sacred youth spaces, Havdalah club is a combination of fun, community, debate and learning all topped off with a Havdalah ritual to conclude each session. *Pizza provided by Kavana.
